Mother's Day 2015

When was the last time you thanked her?

In most countries, Mother’s Day is celebrated on second Sunday in the month of May. This celebration is a form of appreciation for women who have spent most of their time taking care of their children.

Give birth → Feed milk → Change diapers → Do laundry → Provide education → Marry them off

A mother’s job is never done. If you think a mother’s responsibilities are just as listed above, think again.

Our mother is always the person we turn to in spilling everything we have in mind – which classmate “borrows” our eraser and never returned, which primary school friends we are inviting over for birthday party, how our normal day is like at work, who we are planning to tie knot with, and the list goes on.

On such special day, spare her from cooking and treat her to a good dinner. Buy her flowers if you must (remember to check if your father has reserved a bouquet already!) or walk with her along a nice sandy beach with a casual chat. Most importantly, give her a hug and whisper “thank you” gently in her ears.

P/S: If you are considering a weekend getaway, maybe you can consider THIS.
